Dr. Christian Debes
I’m a lead data scientist at AGT International, one of the fastest growing organizations in the area of public safety and security with operations around the globe. My specialization is in the area of signal and image processing, specifically I’m interested in topics like data fusion, anomaly detection, learning and prediction. Besides working at AGT International I’m also a lecturer at Technische Universität Darmstadt, offering a course on “Imaging and Image Processing” which is designed for master students in information and communication engineering.
Before working at AGT International I was a research associate and later postdoctoral research fellow at the Signal Processing Group at TU Darmstadt. My PhD is on “Advances in detection and classification for Through-the-Wall Radar Imaging” (defended with summa cum laude in 2010) where I demonstrated how adaptive methods in signal and image processing can be used to detect and classify targets in radar images obtained from behind walls.
